AZ Travel Tips is an independent Arizona travel publication. We cover day trips, hidden gems, scenic byways, outdoor adventures, and seasonal getaways across the Grand Canyon State — from the urban fringes of Phoenix and Tucson to remote slot canyons most travelers never hear about.

The site was founded by Kimberly Conner, an Arizona-based travel writer, photographer, and content creator whose work reaches an audience of 230k+ across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube. Every guide on this site is built from first-hand reporting — actual drives, actual hikes, actual meals — and not from aggregating other travel blogs.

Our editorial approach

We aim to be the trusted local friend you wish you had before booking a trip. That means:

• We disclose when a place has changed, closed, or no longer lives up to its reputation.

Why Arizona

It's an unfair amount of beauty for one state, and we think it deserves a publication that takes it seriously.
